TEACHER OF THE MONTH

Mrs. Tiffany Green | Third-Grade Teacher, K.C. Ling Elementary | Hemlock Public School District

Mrs. Tiffany Green

This month, we celebrate Tiffany Green, who was recently named Educator of the Year by the Hemlock Business Association.

A proud Hemlock graduate herself, Tiffany has been teaching at K.C. Ling Elementary since 1999. For more than two decades, she has poured her heart into shaping the lives of young learners in the same district where she once sat as a student. Her story is a reminder of the lasting connections between education, community, and home.

Known for her compassionate teaching style and creative approach, Tiffany fosters a classroom where students feel both challenged and supported. She emphasizes responsibility, empathy, and citizenship alongside academics—helping children grow into well-rounded individuals prepared for life beyond the classroom.

Superintendent Dr. Don Killingbeck praises her as “the kind of teacher every child deserves—compassionate, creative, and deeply invested in student success.”

Her principal, Lori Gensch, describes her as “an exceptional educator whose quiet leadership and dedication inspire both students and staff alike.”

For the Hemlock community, Tiffany’s recognition is about more than awards—it’s a testament to the influence of a teacher who consistently goes above and beyond for her students and neighbors.

Congratulations, Tiffany, on this well-deserved honor, and thank you for showing Mid-Michigan what it means to teach with heart.
